Nurse Injector Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our team for medspa. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with specialized experience in administering injectable treatments. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of treatments. The Nurse Injector will work closely with patients to assess their needs, educate them about procedures, and deliver exceptional care.
Duties
- Administer injectable medications and treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and potential side effects.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Assist in outpatient procedures, including but not limited to gastric lavage and medication administration.
- Provide support for patients with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
Experience
- A valid nursing license with experience in critical care, internal medicine, or medical-surgical settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and infection control practices is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working with outpatient services is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
