GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Medical Assistant/Studio Concierge for Von & Co Medical Aesthetics Studio, a new medical spa concept launching in November 2024, will be an integral part of the Von & Co team, passionate about providing a world-class guest experience while ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. Studio Concierges are “directors of experience,” welcoming guests to the studio and guiding them throughout their visit. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITIES:
Patient Care Support:
Welcomes, checks in, and escorts guests to appropriate rooms, addressing all of their needs along the way.
Partners with providers on guest consults, helping to assess guest needs and concerns so that the provider can recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Assists providers during cosmetic procedures, ensuring guests feel well taken care of and comfortable.
Prepares patients for treatments, educating them on what will occur and answering any questions they may have.
Provides post-treatment instructions.
Assists guests in selecting and purchasing skin care products that best suit their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on application techniques, product features and skincare routines.
Checks guests out and schedules follow up visits.
Administrative Support:
Schedules appointments and manages guest flow efficiently.
Answers phone calls, addresses inquiries, and provides information regarding services offered.
Correctly collects and processes patient payments.
Coordinates with other team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.
Assists Studio Manager in monitoring inventory of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Maintains lobby in neat and orderly condition. Closes office, when necessary, at end of day.
Clinical Support:
Prepares treatment suites and pods for procedures, ensuring they are immaculate, stocked and organized.
Sterilizes and maintains medical instruments according to established protocols.
Maintains patient records and ensures accurate and thorough documentation.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Adheres to all HIPAA regulations and maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Follows established safety protocols and infection control measures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Hospitality and sales experience preferred
· Previous experience in a medical spa or dermatology setting preferred.
· Proficiency in medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
· Must be open to a schedule that includes working partial or full weekends.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care.
· Computer skills. Experience with practice management systems (PMS) preferred.
