Responsibilities:
- Teach students the skills and knowledge required for all licensed esthetic requirements, plus job skills, business skills and professional skills.
- Develop and implement lesson plans to ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training program.
- Demonstrate proper protocols, policies, procedures and professional expectations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in beauty and wellness treatments and add individuality to the classroom.
Requirements:
- Two years minimum work experience as a licensed esthetician.
- Valid esthetics license.
- Familiarity with adult education principles and teaching methodologies
- Confidence, people skills, management skills and independent thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize training sessions.
- Patience and the ability to work well with diverse groups of students and manage a classroom setting.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by NY state regulations
