We are seeking a caring and exceptional medical assistant to service our patients and support our providers. Responsibilities:
Act as Dr. Lawson's primary medical assistant to ensure an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.
Interacts with patients in a positive and helpful manner, providing information and assistance as needed.
Gathers necessary demographic information from patient to build a new/updated patient account.
Using the computer system, generates invoices for patients according to prescribed procedures and fees and collects payment.
Provide necessary forms to patients for completion and signatures.
Answer telephone calls, record messages for coworkers and deliver messages.
Maintain an adequate level of office supplies as needed operations.
Perform various clerical duties such as photocopying forms, reports and patient information, faxing forms, filing forms/charts.
Assist clinic staff with patient triage as needed to maintain proper patient flow.
Educate patients about our services, treatments and products we offer.
Issue pre and post care instructions for treatments.
Assist in various clinical roles from monitoring patients, administering injections and assisting with aesthetic procedures.
Assist in maintaining an orderly and cleanly office environment.
Qualifications:
-High school diploma is required. Medical Assistant certification or previous experience of 1 year is required. Previous medical spa, dermatology or plastic surgery experience is an asset.
-Computer savvy a must since we use an electronic medical records, scheduling system and Quickbooks Small Business.

-Phlebotomy skills are required
Hours: 38-40 hours per week, must be available to work shifts scheduled anytime Mon, Wed 9-5, Tues & Thurs 9-7, Fri 9-4 and occasional Sat 9-1.
