We are a thriving plastic surgery practice looking for an experienced certified medical assistant. This team player will have a full time position split between our Avon and Fishers offices.
Job duties will be first and foremost to assist our board-certified plastic surgeon. This includes rooming patients, taking a brief medical history, assisting with documentation in our EMR system, coordinating surgical procedures and assisting with in-office procedures. The ideal candidate will be professional, eager to learn and an initiative taker.
On days that our plastic surgeon is in the OR, the medical assistant may see post op visits, work on surgical orders, patient screening and follow up as well as help with scheduling and other administrative tasks.

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
