Our Medical Assistants maintain an understanding of our treatments in order to recommend and support patients. This role involves assisting providers with all patient visits, and at times working independently for one on one patient care. The Medical Assistant will obtain before and after photos, room patients, prepare procedure trays, capture consent forms, record procedure notes in EMR, schedule appointments and administrative duties. As a private pay practice, we find that individuals with a sales background thrive in this role. We do support both women and men that suffer from hormone imbalance and sexual dysfunction. It is imperative that our medical assistant is able to be compassionate while also confident/comfortable with all services we offer. Role and Responsibilities:
- Be on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
- Properly greet patients and assist with the check in / check out process.
- Obtain before and after photos per provider standard.
- Prepare procedure trays and turn overrooms after procedures.
- Assist medical providers with procedures.
- Assist providers with recording procedure notes and documentation in EMR.
- Scheduling and administrative duties.
- Phlebotomy experience or the willingness to learn.
- PRP processing for procedures (Will train).
- Handle patient questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy & HIPAA.
- Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.
- Ensure adequate stock of supplies and equipment; inform management when stock is low.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Assist in all areas of medical spa operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced environment
OR
- Minimum of 1 year of employment within a medical spa
