We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to support one of our partner clinics and join our experienced team at M Spa located in Reno, NV.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a superb patient care disposition, excellent communication skills, and be well-spoken and articulate. He/she must have flexibility in scheduling, strong analytical decision-making skills, be extremely outgoing and friendly, able to multitask, be a team player, be comfortable with basic computer/software knowledge, have high integrity and be a quick learner wanting to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Greet every patient with a warm smile and direct eye contact, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Provide personalized, attentive care by understanding patient needs and facilitating seamless transitions to the appropriate medical staff.
- Ensure patient comfort in the waiting area, offering timely updates regarding any delays and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of all service offerings, including costs, procedure durations, scheduling blocks, and post-operative care requirements.
- Manage patient records, verifying and updating demographic information with precision.
- Prepare charts for providers and ensure proper classification of patients using the Room Manager system.
- Manage appointment scheduling within designated timeframes, coordinating with providers as necessary to accommodate patient needs.
- Oversee the collection and posting of payments, adhering to cash handling protocols and ensuring accurate financial records.
- Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring all communications are addressed within a timely manner.
- Distribute and collect necessary paperwork, including consents, pre-operative instructions, examinations, and lab work.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, setting the standard for the team in both presentation and demeanor.
- Foster strong, positive relationships with providers and team members, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
- Assist fellow team members with tasks as needed to maintain the efficiency and quality of patient care.
- Ensure the highest level of patient confidentiality by strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations and all Protected Health Information (PHI) policies established by McCormack Plastic Surgery.
Qualifications:

- Experience in medical reception or similar roles is preferred.
