The RN, NP or PA will provide cosmetic medical services in an office based plastic surgery office/ medispa. Cosmetic injections and non-surgical cosmetic procedures are the core responsibilities. Additionally, this team member should facilitate a deliberate patient-centered partnership for a seamless patient experience between office procedures, pre-surgery, outpatient surgery and postoperative care. The team member will work to maximize the patient’s health, outcomes, and patient experience by identifying patient needs, completing pre-visit planning and providing support during recovery process and clinical visits. Finally, this position works to develop and support a coordinated care plan between visits to promote a smooth transition for patients that instill a sense of trust and patient advocacy as well as continuity of care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Background experience in plastic surgery and/or aesthetic medicine. Injection experience is required. OR experience is valued.
- Superior customer service with a concierge hospitality and business sales focus.
- Comfort with consultative conversations including financial costs for injectable and ancillary services.
- Eager and open to learning all aspects of cosmetic surgery and desire to provide medical education to patients.
- Effective organization for comprehensive clinical and non-clinical documentation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform injections with Botox and dermal fillers, as well as perform additional ancillary treatments as they are incorporated into the practice.
Perform laser procedures, microneedling, INFINI RF microneedling, PRP treatments, and chemical peels.
- Provide clinical nursing support, conduct assigned post-op visits independently and communicate the assessment and exam with physician.
- Regularly communicate issues and follow up, as well as provide suggestions for improvement to physician and management.
- Coordinate with marketing, front office and operations management to address all issues that may impact the patient experience from the clinical perspective.
Additional Specifics:
OR first assistant duties would be a welcomed addition but not mandatory.
- Part-time regularly scheduled hours minimum 2 days/ week but flexible with the potential of full time.
- Occasional night/weekend coverage of phone calls (very light volume)
