NOTE: This is a full-time role, requiring one Saturday shift per month. (An option for 32 hours per week may be available).

The Position
We’re looking for an experienced full-time time Esthetician / Medical Assistant to perform clinical skin care services, assist in non-surgical aesthetic procedures and mentor peers. Need not have existing book of business. Typical services may include but are not limited to; body contouring, chemical peels, dermaplaning, laser hair removal, laser skin care, microneedling, RF skin tightening and more. Interested parties should be highly customer service-oriented, dextrous, team-oriented and confident communicators. In addition to providing services, candidate will also be responsible for consultative product sales and educating customers on all of the services that Beauty Marx provides. All products, consumables & tools necessary to perform daily work are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the following services (offerings may change over time)
- DiamondGlow® Facial & Body Treatments
- SculpSure® Body Countouring
- Prep Injectable Patients and Materials
- Wax hair removal
- Retail Product Sales
- Keep work area(s) tidy, restock consumables used and communicate inventory levels to management.
- When necessary, greet customers, operate point-of-sale system, and pre-book future appointments.
- Delight customers, appear professional at all times and maintain a positive work environment consistent with the Beauty Marx culture.
- Actively attend 1:1 and team meetings
- Participate in setup and operation of occasional evening open houses.
- Participate in initial service and retail product training as well as continuing education both at Beauty Marx or at locations requiring overnight and/or up to three hours of one-way travel.
Required Skills:
- Physical ability
- Keen eyesight and visual spatial ability; able to work well with magnification
- Great dexterity and a steady hand
- Ability to engage in a consultative sales process
- Ability to self-promote and leverage Beauty Marx’s marketing tools to grow your book
- Must be able to lift, move, carry, pack/unpack heavy boxes.
- Coachable and open to refining technique, even where prior experience is substantial.
Required experience:
- Three years regular experience operating Laser IPL & Laser Hair Removal platforms
- Three years regular experience performing microneedling
- Three years regular experience working with chemical peels
- Deep knowledge of at least two medical grade skincare lines
- Body Contouring experience preferred
- Previous experience mentoring peers strongly preferred
Required License & Education:
- Current PA State Cosmetician or Esthetician’s License
- Valid Driver’s License and access to transportation
- High School graduate or equivalent

Pay: $53,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
