POSITION SUMMARY
As the Night Guest Service Agent (Night GSA), you'll be responsible for operating the Front Desk of the resort overnight and ensuring a high-quality guest and employee experience.
This is a Temporary position expected through April or May of 2025 depending on business flow and staffing needs. Working evenings are likely to be Sunday-Tuesday or Thursday-Saturday with every other Wednesday. The shift hours for this position are 10:30pm to 7:00am.
COLLABORATION & ENGAGEMENT
As a Night Guest Service Agent, you will work under the direct guidance of the Front Desk Manager. In addition to your home department, you will regularly work with the Banquets and Housekeeping teams. You will not oversee other staff and can expect a significant level of interaction with guests and the public.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & JOB DUTIES
We're looking for someone who can...
- Save all necessary reports and email them to the managers.
- Share department-specific reports with the designated managers as needed.
- Verify that VIP and arriving guest details are accurate and complete, and make sure rooms are appropriately blocked.
- Assist guests with check-ins, reservations, and departures in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Communicate important updates and guest requests clearly between shifts to ensure follow-through.
- Conduct resort walkthroughs and nightly inspections.
- Complete the MOD report after inspecting each department.
- Set up the complimentary coffee station in the morning.
- Collect room-service breakfast pre-orders and deliver them to the Restaurant opener.
- Assist with Gift Shop purchases when the Drinkery Attendant isn’t available.
- Handle guest reservations as needed.
- Complete the “roll of the day” following established guidelines.
- Address guest feedback, whether compliments or complaints, and take appropriate action while keeping supervisors informed.
- Keep the lobby and front desk area clean and welcoming.
- Assist guests with their luggage and equipment.
- Stay familiar with safety and emergency procedures and be prepared to act if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Required | 2+ years’ guest/customer service experience
- Required | Flexible availability, including weekends
- Desirable | 1+ years’ hotel experience
- Desirable | Proficiency with MS Office, databases, voicemail systems, office equipment, and computers
- Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered
Permits & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- WA Food Worker Card required within 14 days after hire
- WA Class 12/13 Alcohol Server Permit (MAST) required within 60 days after hire

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. They must frequently stand for extended periods, walk, sit, climb stairs, demonstrate hand and finger dexterity, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. The role may also require sustained visual and mental concentration.
Work Environment. Conditions are typical of a hotel environment, with controlled settings, minimal noise levels, and little variation in temperature.
