Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, team player with strong work ethics, licensed Esthetician to join our growing spa. This is a part-time position with potential to be full-time. You will have the key role with our clients to have a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in our facility. You will provide a variety of esthetic services, including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, dermaplaning and other esthetic services. Potential for growth to do medical esthetics such as laser hair removal, laser rejuvenation, coolsculpting and others. Excellence in customer service and work ethics is a must, and you need to be self-motivated, self-starter and able to work independently. You should be a team player, coachable and willing to learn. In addition to providing spa services, you will be responsible for selling and promoting our beauty and skincare products and upsell services. This job entails you to do front desk jobs including checking in and checking out clients.

Esthetician Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome clients and explain to them the list of products and services.
Conduct consultations for clients with problem areas, advising how best to care for their skin
Perform a variety of esthetic treatments and services, including but not limited to microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, waxing.·
Suggest various upgrades, such as the use of specialized skincare products, other procedures
Educate patients for pre and post treatment instructions.
Maintain proper patient charting which includes informed consents, before and after photos, post treatment records and update information in scheduling software.
Maintain equipment through regular cleaning, maintenance and safety
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment room and station
Assist in all areas of the spa and outside of the job description as requested by spa management
Check-in and check-out clients, schedule appointments, answer phone calls and collect payments
Open to coaching, roleplaying and improvements to perfect skills
Help train new staff

Esthetician Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Current state esthetician's license in good standing
Minimum of 1 year work experience as an esthetician
Highly motivated and goal oriented
A good sales and marketing person; able to use social media for marketing a plus
Exceptional customer service skills; team player; good co-worker; reliable
Efficient, well organized, able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously, able to work well under pressure
Skilled and knowledgeable regarding skincare products
Able to suggest and sell products and other services based on specific needs
Specialized skills and knowledge of facial protocols and equipment
Knowledge in microneedling, facials, dermaplane, microdermabrasion, lasers preferred
Ability to follow protocols and directions
A professional work ethic and image
Part-time availability with a potential to be full time once your schedule gets busy, including some weekends in the future
