Nurse Injector Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing with experience in administering injections and providing patient care. As a Nurse Injector, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through your expertise in various medical procedures, including diagnostic evaluations and behavioral health assessments. Your ability to work collaboratively within a hospital or clinical setting will be essential in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

Must be available for 4 hour blocks to schedule clients
New injectors welcome to apply, training available in office
Administer injections safely and effectively, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ medical histories and current health status.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all procedures performed.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations.
Monitor patients post-injection for any adverse reactions or complications.
Provide education and support to patients regarding their treatment options and aftercare.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards.

Qualifications

Valid nursing license (RN or LPN or PA or NP) with relevant certifications.
Experience administering injections is required; familiarity with cardiac catheterization is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
