Job Summary
As a Nurse at First Choice Aesthetics you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care to clients while administering a variety of non-invasive aesthetic treatments. You will work directly with clients to perform procedures, offer recommendations, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer Aesthetic Treatments:

o Perform a range of aesthetic procedures, including but not limited to:

§ Weight loss injections (e.g., Semaglutide, Terzepatide, IV infusion treatment, B12, lipotropic injections, etc.)

§ Neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport, etc.)

§ Dermal peels (chemical peels, etc)

§ Microneedling

§ Dermal filler injections

o Ensure all treatments are delivered with precision and in accordance with industry best practices.

2. Consult with Clients:

o Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals, medical history, and skin conditions.

o Provide recommendations on appropriate treatments tailored to individual needs.

o Educate clients on the benefits, risks, and aftercare for each service.

3. Patient Safety and Comfort:

o Monitor and assess clients throughout the treatment process, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

o Administer topical numbing agents or local anesthesia as needed.

o Respond promptly to any complications or concerns during treatments.

4. Record Keeping and Documentation:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all clients, including treatment plans, progress, and any reactions or concerns.

o Document client history, consents, and follow-up care instructions.

5. Maintain Cleanliness and Compliance:

o Follow strict hygiene and sterilization protocols to prevent infection or complications.

o Stay up to date on the latest state regulations and industry standards related to aesthetic nursing.

o Ensure compliance with all medical spa procedures, policies, and protocols.

6. Team Collaboration and Professional Development:

o Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and staff members to ensure a seamless client experience.

o Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new procedures and advancements in aesthetic treatments.

7. Promote Medspa Services:

o Assist with promoting and educating clients about other services offered by the Medspa.

o Assist in marketing and sales efforts, as appropriate, by offering client referrals, promotions, and package deals.

Experience

· Education:

o Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in Virginia.

o BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred but not required.

· Experience:

o Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or aesthetic setting, preferably in medspa or dermatology.

o Experience with injectables, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, microneedling, and/or weight loss injections highly preferred.

o Certification in advanced aesthetic nursing procedures (Botox, fillers, microneedling, etc.) is a plus.

· Licensure & Certifications:

o Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia.

o CPR and BLS certifications required.

o Advanced aesthetic certifications (e.g., Botox and dermal filler training) preferred or willing to obtain.

o Knowledge of state regulations regarding aesthetic procedures in Virginia.

· Skills:

o Strong understanding of anatomy, skincare, and injectables.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain long-term relationships.

o Detail-oriented and able to perform precise injections and procedures.

o Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
