Licensed Esthetician

Reports to: CFO

Promotion Track: work toward Spa Supervisor position. We’re looking for an individual who is current and up-to-date on various treatment modalities and who is interested in advancement to a Supervisory Position in the Spa.

Belleair Country Club is open seven days a week, 364 days a year (closed on Christmas Day).

This position is 30-40 hours a week, full time employment with a rotating schedule of alternating weeks; Monday to Friday - Monday to Thursday and Saturday. Days and hours may change due to scheduling needs.

Education and/or Experience

Post-secondary training or licensure in cosmetology and different types of aesthetic treatments.

At least two years of experience working in a club, hotel/resort, or spa facility.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

Knowledge of spa front desk procedures.

Ability to assist with managing all aspects of the club’s spa operations

Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Responsible for assisting with coordinating spa programs and promotions, ensuring member-customer satisfaction and health and safety compliance.

Job Tasks/ Duties

Ensure that the aesthetic rooms are maintained at the highest levels of sanitary and cleanliness protocols.

Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.

Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and providers.

Ensure stock and cash items are kept safely under lock and key.

Minimize or eliminate losses through negligence with monitoring programs.

Follow established opening and closing procedures.

Assist with managing inventory effectively; follow purchasing standards; ensure compliance.

Guide business decisions by staying on top of spa industry trends.

Assist with maintaining a strong menu of services with both exceptional artistic and aesthetic value.

Help to grow retail sales using valid techniques and recommendations.

Ensure the spa is always staged for maximum buyer impact.

Ensure all necessary internal and external signage and marketing information is current.

Assist with creating in-house promotions and activities to stimulate sales, staff and members.

Performs other related duties as assigned by the CFO.

Licenses and Special Requirements

Florida licensed esthetician.

Must be experienced in working with medical grade skin care products – ZO Obagi experience is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

•Able to meet and perform physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment which is typical of this position.

Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.

Frequent repetitive motions.

Continuous standing and walking.

Must often work in humid and low-level light environment.

Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors from massage oils and lotions.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.00 – 40.00 per week
